Situated at the South Eastern section of Italy, in the city of Andria, the
Castle del Monte is surely one of the most distinctive historical sites to
be explored in the country. Constructed in the 13 th century, the castle
draws the attention of several tourists who travel to Italy.
Commissioned by Emperor Frederick II, the Castel del Monte is popular
for its striking façade with its unique octagonal shape. The castle is
considered by many historians to be among the most remarkable to be
built in Europe in this period of time.
The castle mainly consists of two floors. Each of these floors contained
8 chambers and various rooms. Many of these chambers are featured

The Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo

Located near downtown in Cairo, the Museum of Islamic Art is one of
the most remarkable places to explore for tourists who spend their
vacations in Egypt.
The museum represents an interesting demonstration of the history of
various types of Islamic arts. with a huge collection of displays dating
back to various periods and dynasties.
Among the most marvelous displays in the Museum of Islamic Art is
the vast collection of Mashrabeya screens. The Arabs excelled in
creating these windows with decorated wood.
There are also some marvelously decorated doors of mosques and
palaces. There is a large number as well of Turkish and Persian ceramics
and tiles, a selection of manuscripts and books, and a large number of
rugs and carpets.

The City of Madaba in Jordan

The city of Madaba is among the most distinctive touristic destinations
tourists who travel to Jordan are keen to explore. Located only 33
kilometers to the South West of Amman, the Jordanian capital, this
makes it a wonderful destination for day and half-day tours.
The city was established by the Kingdom of Moab around the 13 th
century BC. It played a significant role during the Byzantine period.
Madaba hosted a large number of churches.
The major attractions of the city of Madaba include ancient Byzantine
mosaics that are included inside the famous Archeological Park of the
city. There are also the mosaics of the ancient Roman camp that was
founded around the middle of the 5 th century BC.

The Princesses’ Islands in Turkey

Located in the Sea of Marmara in Istanbul, the Princesses’ Island
consists of a group of islands that range in their size and population.
However, the overall surface area of all islands consists of around 15
square kilometers.
Tourists who enjoy their vacations in Turkey would visit the Princesses’
Islands for its magnificent natural beauty. This is in addition to the horse
carriages that are used as the main mean of transportation, in addition to
bikes and motorbikes. Cars are prohibited in the islands.
The Princesses’ Islands are considered among the best places for half-
day tours in Turkey, especially during the summer season. A ferry boat
takes travelers who tour Turkey to the islands. The most remarkable
among the Princesses’ Islands, there are Kınalıada, Burgazada,
Heybeliada and Büyükada.

The Monastery of Saint Naum consists of a huge complex. Situated
around 29 kilometers away from Ohrid. The monastery is surely one of
the historical sites never to be missed by tourists who travel to
Macedonia.
The Monastery of Saint Naum is a large orthodox establishment.
Offering magnificent views of the Ohrid Lake, the impressive walls of
the complex is something to watch for.
Founded at the beginning of the 10 th century AD. Saint Naum
commissioned it by himself where he was buried inside the church
located inside the monastery.
The monastery is famous for its distinctive architecture and icons. It is
one of the remarkable Slavic buildings, constructed during the byzantine
times. The heart of the complex, where the Church of the Holy
Archangels is situated is perhaps the most notable.

the blue color of its walls, is a museum dedicated for the works of former Mexican
artist, Frida Kahlo. Today, it is one of the most interesting places to explore by

Transformed into a museum in 1958, it hosts a distinctive collection of artisan
works of Frida Kahlo. This is in addition to many items illustrating the traditional
arts of Mexico. The museum is considered among the most visited by travelers
who enjoy their vacations in Mexico.
The Blue House originally consisted of a large villa with three walls surrounding
the courtyard. Afterwards, another fourth wall was added so that the wall would be
surrounding the garden from all sides. Consisting of two floors, the house hosts

from Zaafrana, overlooking the Red Sea, the Monastery of Saint Paul is
one of the remarkable Coptic historical sites in the land of the Nile.
Saint Paul was born as the son of a wealthy tradesman in the
Mediterranean coastal city of Alexandria. However, when he converted
to Christianity he was the first worshipper to escape in the Eastern
Desert. Today, his monastery welcomes hundreds of tourists who visit
Egypt.
The Monastery of St Paul was established around a cave where he
resided. Featured with many icons and morals of the Christ and the
