The Hadrian’s Wall Path in England

By Seif Kamel
Have you ever known that England hosts a distinctive Roman
monument? Yes, this is the Hadrian’s Wall Path. This path extends for a
distance of more than 135 kilometers where it is very close to the
remains of a defensive wall constructed by the Romans thousands of
years ago.
Travelers who tour England would walk or ride a bicycle in the path, or
parts of it. The Hadrian’s Wall is one of the unique monuments included
in the UNESCO World Heritage Sties. Away from history, the natural
scenery is superb!
This ancient path actually begins at the Museum of Segedunum. The
first part of the path runs in beautiful urban areas where travelers who
spend their holidays in England enjoy exploring the everyday life of the
English. Exploring the path and the ancient fortified walls is quite
interesting for those who are in love with nature and ancient history.
