The city of Lucca in Italy

Lucca is one of the most interesting town located in Northern West Italy. It is a small town with less than 100,000 people as its population. However, it is featured with its many medieval structures and various historical buildings.

Lucca was first established around the 3 rd century BC by the Etruscans Dynasty and it became a Roman city at the end of the 2 nd century BC. At the 12 th century AD, the city of Lucca became an independent republic for more than five centuries. Today, it is one of the most interesting
places to explore in Italy.

The fortified walls of Lucca remained quite wonderfully preserved. There are also some several other constructions like Ducal Palace, built in the 16 th century, the Pfanner Palace, Villa Garzoni, and Casa di Puccini. A visit to Lucca is included in many travel packages to Italy.
