The City of Salamanca in Spain

Located in the Western section of Spain, Salamanca is located over many mountains, the ancient town inside the city was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1988 for its marvelous historical sites.

Established more than 2500 years, Salamanca became a Roman town, the same as many places around Europe, during the 3 rd century BC. Afterwards, the Moors took control of the city for centuries. Today, it is one of the most interesting touristic cities in Spain.

The St. Vitus Cathedral

The Cathedral of St. Vitus is one of the most remarkable Gothic constructions in Europe. It is also the biggest church in the Czech Republic. Enclosed inside the Prague Castle, the cathedral is one of the
major highlights of the Czech.

With its striking façade, 124 meters high with the bell tower being more than 100 meters in height, it is one of the most impressive in Europe. The Cathedral of St. Vitus witnessed the coronation of various kings and queens.

The Most Interesting Sites of Delhi


Delhi is one of the most magnificent cities of the whole world. Serving as the capital and the seat of the government for more than hundreds of years gave the city its own type of magic.

Blue Lagoon in Iceland

The Yu Gardens in China

The Yu, or Yuyuan Garden, is among the most magnificent places to be visited in Shanghai. Established during the reign of the Ming Dynasty, the garden was first established around the end of the 14 th century. However, the construction and renovations went on for centuries afterwards.

The word Yu in the Chinese language means the pleasing experience. This word in fact reflects every single detail of the Yu Garden. Although the Yu Garden only has a surface area of 20,000 square meters, the garden hosts all the elements to be found in historical classical gardens all over China.

The Kasbah of Agadir

The Kasbah of the city of Agadir is a historical fortress that is located over a hill that is around 240 meters high. The Kasbah was built by the found of the Saadis Dynasty in Morocco, Sultan Mohamed El Sheikh around the middle of the 16 th century.

The objective behind constructing Kasbahs in Morocco was mainly to protect various cities against the attacks of the Europeans from the North and the Berbers from the deserts. The Kasbah of Agadir is not an exception.

Unfortunately, the Kasbah of Agadir was largely damaged during an earthquake in 1960. Unluckily, only the walls and some other structures remained. However, the Kasbah would be an amazing place to spend the sunset and enjoying your time.

The Edinburgh Castle in Scotland

The Edinburgh Castle is in fact one of the most famous Scottish
monuments. It is located in the city that holds the same name,
Edinburgh. Historians claim that humans have settled on the rock where
the castle is located, Castle Rock, as early as the 2nd century AD.
A royal British castle was established on this rock as early as the 12th
century AD, in the reign of King David I and was used as a royal
residence foe more than 400 years afterwards. Today, it one of the
famous historical monuments commonly explored by tourists spending
their vacations in Scotland.
At the end of the 18th century, the Edinburg Castle was used as a
military stronghold. Scholars assert that the caste was besieged for 26
times during its long history, extending for more than 11 centuries. They
claim that it is the strongest and most fortified castle in Great Britain.
Nowadays, it became a landmark of Scotland and a marvelous site to

The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum in Poland

Many tourists around the world explore ancient sites, contemporary
buildings and various museums. However, a visit to the Auschwitz-
Birkenau Museum in Oświęcim in Poland is a totally different story.
In fact, the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and memorial was where the
Nazis carried out their concentration camps. In 1947, the government
decided to establish a museum and a memorial in the exact location and
with the same buildings. Today, it is one of the highlights tourists who
spend their vacations in Poland would visit.
The visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum would usually include
viewing exhibitions telling the story of this historical place. They would
watch the place where the Nazi concentration camp factually took place.

The Simplon Pass in Switzerland

The Simplon Pass is a popular passageway between the Pennine Alps
and the Lepontine Alps in Switzerland. With its impressive height, being
more than 2000 meters, it is quite a favorite destination for tourists who
visit Switzerland.
In fact, for many centuries, there was always a passageway between the
Alps Mountains. However, when the French troops took control of this
area at the beginning of the 19 th century, they constructed a road to help
them transfer army equipment and weapons.
Afterwards, in the 1950s the road witnessed some improvements.
However, the state we view today goes back to the 1970s when the
government carried out a plan to enhance the whole rout. Today, the
Simplon Pass is among the places tourists who visit Switzerland are
