Poznan in Poland

   Poznan is perhaps among the most distinctive historical cities in
Poland. Situated at the Central Western section of the country, it
was established during the 11th and 12th centuries. Today Poznan
is one of the most important commercial and industrial hub in
Poland.
   Many tourists who travel to Poland give special attention to
Poznan. This is due to its historical significance, its culture and
various sites. There are numerous places to explore and visit.
The most impressive historical sites of Poznan include the Poznan
Town Hall, Poznan University Library, the apse of St. Florian's
Church, and the Poznan Cathedral, the oldest in the country dating
to more than 1000 years ago.
