The Arenal Volcano National Park in Costa Rica

The Arenal Volcano National Park is one of the most matchless
places to explore while enjoying a trip to Costa Rica. This national
park hosts the most active volcano of Costa Rica.
The last time the Arenal Volcano witnessed an eruption was back
in 1968. There is also another volcano in the park which is called
the Mount Chato as it has never been active for the past 3500
years. The Arenal National Park also hosts some wonderful hotels
and resorts.
With a surface area of around 2000 square kilometers, the park is
one of the largest in the country. It hosts 16 preserved areas
between various regions of Costa Rica. Exploring the Arenal Park
is a must for travelers who spend their vacations in Costa Rica.
